Turo reviews6/29/2023 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. And when I'm traveling with a partner, I like that we can both apply as "drivers" for the same trip. Starting from 25-a-day, you can rent the 2010 model Mazda 6 with insurance included in the package. Turo has a rating of 1.81 stars from 44 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Also, I feel safer (traveling alone as a woman) in a car that looks more à propos to the area instead of in an obvious rental car. Overall, this remains a good budget travel option. I've even had car owners offer free or paid add-ons like coolers and umbrellas, things you wouldn't normally fly with but would be useful for your time spent in the are. I also like having the choice between being picked up at the airport for a small fee, or taking public transport to meet them the car owner closer to home. I've never had a negative experience with an owner or getting a bad driver review at the end of a trip. ![]() And on longer trips, the more fuel-efficient the car is the more I can save on gas. In the city, the more compact the car is the better parking spaces I find. My first trip was a weeklong escapade in a 1986 Volkswagen camper van through the Pacific Northwest of the US, camping along the coast. I like being able to pick exactly what car to drive. Ive tried Turo in two widely different capacities. ![]() I've found that Turo rentals are almost always cheaper than other car rental businesses, and I have a wider selection of cars to choose between. I've used Turo for both personal and business needs, and in both cases, any dollar I can save is a dollar that goes back into my pocket.
